About Destiny Serna

Hi! I’m Destiny Serna, a student at UC Davis majoring in International Relations and Sociology with a concentration in Law & Society. I’m passionate about access, advocacy, and equity and I’ve built my experience through legal support roles, community-centered programs, and student leadership. I recently interned in Talent Acquisition at The Wonderful Company, where I supported recruitment operations, maintained confidential records in ATS platforms, and coordinated interviews. As the P.E.A.C.E. Manager at UC Davis’s Cross Cultural Center, I’ve led equity-focused workshops, managed logistics, and drafted policy-focused communications to support underserved communities. I also serve as a LEAF College Mentor, guiding first-generation students through academic and professional challenges. I’m currently seeking opportunities where I can grow as a legal professional, support attorneys and clients through excellent administrative work, and be part of a mission-driven team. My long term goal is to pursue a career in law, and I’m excited to keep learning and contributing in spaces that value diligence, inclusivity, and impact.
