About Devalkumar Master
I am a professional civil engineer. I graduated in a civil engineering discipline and post-graduated in Geo-Technical Engineering. My professional career started in 2013 working with a structural consultancy in India. I met my KIWI partner in 2016 and moved after her to NZ in 2017. I struggled in the beginning in NZ with the language and culture differences. However, it took me a year to fit fully into this excepting and welcoming country. As a person, I am slightly self-involved and observing, which I found helping to fit me into a unique environment very quickly. New Zealand is my first ever country to be outside of my comfort zone and I am pleased to experience the vast culture here. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy playing the game of cricket and exploring new things on a daily basis. I am not a goal-oriented person but would love to enjoy the process.
