About Devaney Fort

I am currently a Registered Nurse with a Master of Business Administration Healthcare Administration and Master of Science in Nursing degree. I have a strong passion for self-improvement and work hard to continue my personal and professional growth and development. I wish to further my career in both clinical and technical aspects, by further bridging the gap between the electronic medical record and bedside nursing. I am enthusiastic about providing my team members with the tools and resources needed to perform quality healthcare. I enjoy leading projects and moving them to success. Project management is a fun puzzle that is stimulating and exciting. Project management offers me the opportunity to use my analytical and creative skills to develop and implement the plan. Taking a project from conception to implementation is remarkably rewarding. I especially enjoy watching others achieve success through the projects we work on together. This year I am excited to bring forward several new projects to my organization. I am working to train and educate superusers and end users before our Epic implementation. I am also working with an amazing team of leaders to bring the nationally recognized Daisy Awards to our organization. I have the wonderful opportunity to work with creative and innovative bedside nurse to engage our Nursing Practice Council. These are just a few of the projects I am involved in, in addition to working with the awe-inspiring group of healthcare professionals on the two teams I am blessed to lead.
