About Devang Kamble

I am an Associate Software Engineer at Siemens DISW working in the Client Framework team - focused on build side. I am primarily a full-stack developer with experience of building innovative projects. I had an entrepreneurial stint in college - Contrivers Edge where I served as the CTO and we provided services of end-to-end website and app development. I am currently in the process of making CE a developer community hub where interested developers can join in to build innovative products.Tools in my arsenal:Front-end- Flutter- Next.js- React.js- Tailwind CSS- Shopify-Hydrogen- BootstrapBack-end- Node.js- Django- FastAPI- Strapi CMSCloud- AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito)Build- WebpackDevOps- Jenkins- GitLabBesides development, I have genuine passion for teaching and helping fellow developers grow. In 2021 December, I took a Back-end Bootcamp - open and free-for-all and it changed me from within. When we were doing something unique in every session - learning initially from theory and then into practice, it felt truly rewarding to give back to this wonderful community.I was also the Google DSC Lead for WCE campus in 2021-22. We organized several of such sessions, learning and bonding jams and some serious bootcamps to kickstart a development culture among our students. At present, I serve as a mentor at Google DSC where the team is taking up those initiatives miles up ahead. I wish to take tiny steps towards making quality education free and accessible to all.In 2021, we started Contrivers Edge looking at a problem - student developers really don't have exposure to real-time high-quality projects (including our team). Therefore, they majorly lack the skills of actually delivering the product (P.S - It's much more than just coding - designing, understanding, quoting, testing and maintaining). In more than a year, we have built multiple projects for domestic and International clients. This has given a boost to our coding skills as well as the soft-skills since Contrivers Edge involves running all aspects of the company. This knowledge of mine, I truly treasure. We had to close down the profitable business since all of the co-founders got great offers from campus.Other than the serious jargons, I love to read in my free-time, watch football (Cityzen forever!) and play video games.
