I am an experienced professional working on development and verification of static and dynamic device drivers based on real-time operating systems for the next generation adaptive flight display (AFD) systems. I have 4 + years of hands-on experience working on development and verification of LynxOS based device drivers which includes PCI-express, PCI-DMA, NAND Flash File System, NOR Flash, RS-422, RS-232, I2C, USB/FAT32 and VxWorks based Ethernet device driver. Hands-on experience on the BOOT software verification based on PowerPC architecture with the help of Hook approach and Trace32 (Lauterbach) scripts. I have used the verification approaches to verify the RTOS based device drivers like Trace32 debugging method, Test driver approach, Stub driver approach and Hook based verification which all falls into the White-box testing method. Roles and Responsibilities: 1) Capture the high-level and low-level requirements of device driver module and implement test cases and test procedures to verify the same. 2) Working on complete life cycle of DO-178B Level A to E compliant device drivers verification. 3) Initiate the peer reviews to get the implemented test cases and procedures reviewed from the respective cognizant engineer. 4) Analyze the structural coverage report of actual device driver source code and add the software verification cases/inspection/analysis to fill the coverage gaps by performing MC/DC operation. Having hands-on experience and expertise in debugging complex Linux kernel and system core issues in Android and implement solutions to fix the same. Issues could be related to Linux device drivers, Init module (init.rc), Volume Daemon, HW/SW encryption, Logcat, Log Daemon. Hands-on experience in resolving issues related to SELinux violations in Android stack. Having good experience working on IoTivity framework and porting activity of the same in Intel Edison and Arduino based boards.
