About Devanne Kripp

Accomplished Deputy Clerk with a strong understanding of municipal, provincial and federal government structures, procedures, protocols and practices through academic training and experience. I have extensive experience in demonstrating political acuity while handling highly sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner in order to support senior decision-making. My experience has provided me with a working knowledge of a variety of legislation including, but not limited to, the Municipal Act, Municipal Elections Act, Planning Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario Act. In a project management role, I have a proven ability to lead and effectively manage projects in result oriented, deadline driven public sector environments by applying organizational, problem solving and relationship-building skills. My strong ability to work in team-oriented settings has been demonstrated through my initiative and precise attention to detail in fast paced, deadline driven work environments. I am skilled in effectively communicating technical information, via oral and written avenues, to ensure that messages presented in professional and public settings are delivered clearly and have their desired impact. Additionally, I am proficient in synthesizing large amounts of information into concise briefing/summary materials such as information notes, presentation decks and decision notes using Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel.
