About Devansh Varshney

Devansh is currently a PGDM’1 student at MDI Gurgaon. He has two years of work experience as an Assistant Production Manager with strong expertise in production planning, quality control, robotic machines management; work allocation, labour management, manufacturing processes, and safety and compliance. He brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to optimizing production workflows and driving efficiency on the factory floor. He also has experience working with a venture capital firm, where he holds the distinction of being the youngest committee member in the GSM (Gaming, Sportstech, and Mediatech) vertical. In this role, he actively evaluates investment opportunities, tracks emerging trends, and contributes to strategic decision-making. Additionally, he is an investor in the Indovation Fund—an AIF Category-I venture capital fund with a corpus of ₹300 crores—focusing on innovation-led startups in India. With a deep interest in the gaming sector, he constantly explores high-growth potential investments in the space. Devansh has appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) twice, in 2023 and 2024, and achieved an exceptional 99.01 and 99.03 percentile respectively in the VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension) section—demonstrating consistent excellence in critical reasoning and comprehension. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Rank-6, where he balanced academic rigor with active participation in extracurricular and leadership roles. He also won the first prize in his final year project, “Anti Sleep Device during driving”, where he and his team fabricated a fully functional device. He also served as the Co-ordinator (highest student designation) of the Entrepreneurship and Development Club, EDC, ZHCET (AMU), for two consecutive years (3rd and 4th year), fostering an entrepreneurial culture, organizing events, and mentoring peers with startup ambitions, after working with the Robotics Club in his first year.
