About Devarshee Sandilya

My academic background in theoretical physics comprises a masters degree and 1.5 years of further research work where I extensively demonstrated my critical thinking ability and mathematical aptitude. Following exposure to various applications of machine learning in scientific research I developed a strong interest in translating my academic skills towards the field of data science due to the involvement of quantitative methods and analytical thinking. Since the past year I have worked on a broad range of machine learning models as a data scientist focusing both on the latest tools and tech stacks for implementation and the foundational concepts. My current job role often involves exploring some relatively unpopular but advanced models like ROCK CLARANS etc. through research papers. Additionally I actively engage in upskilling through various side-projects that involves aspects like writing APIs front-end development and model deployment.
