I have 5 years of corporate banking experience with State Bank of India, India’s largest commercial bank. I am currently pursuing my MBA from Rutgers Business School with a dual concentration in Finance and Analytics. I am a Dean’s Excellence Awardee and currently the President of the RBS Finance Club. During my tenure with SBI, I was working under the Credit & Risk vertical managing MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) credit. Highly experienced in financial statement analysis. Performed internal credit ratings and carried out credit appraisals to deliver 30%($2.5M) business growth. More recently (Summer 2022), I interned with Hess Corporation as a Treasury Associate. I got the opportunity to work extensively on Hess’s risk management (commodity hedging) strategies, credit rating metrics and credit facility renewals. I am currently seeking opportunities in the corporate Treasury /FP & A space where I can leverage my banking and treasury internship experience and business skills to learn and gain expertise in risk management, capital markets and operations within the treasury space and forecasting, budgeting, ad-hoc and variance analysis within the FP & A space. Coursework: Financial Modelling, Advanced Financial Modeling (LBO and M&A), Derivatives, Advanced Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Advanced accounting courses, Hedge funds, and graduate level courses in SQL and Python. I also hold an Executive Certification (year-long) in Finance from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore. I am a problem solver with strong analytical skills. I enjoy working in teams and consider myself a team player. Solid teamwork has helped me develop strong interpersonal and people management skills. I strongly believe that hard-work and perseverance, both together, always pay off.
