About Devashri Prabhudesai

Hello! I am a recent graduate with a Master's of Science in Quantitative Health and Clinical Research (2022). I have a previous Master's of Science in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs (2010). I hope to work as a biostatistician and support clinical, translational, and epidemiological research studies and community based intervention studies. I bring enthusiasm, unbounded curiosity, perseverance, and solution oriented mind to the table! I apply practical and statistical knowledge gained during my graduate studies to explore, manage, analyze, visualize, and interpret data using R. Over the years, I have worked in various branches of clinical research; a clinical research coordinator with a primary investigator, a pharmacovigilance scientist with a CRO, and a medical writer with an MNC. As a clinical research coordinator, I led daily clinical trial activities. I also trained the site staff on research protocols. As pharmacovigilance scientist and medical writer, I have gained excellent organization, reporting, and communication skills; this allows me to excel in both independent and team-oriented environments. In pharmacovigilance and medical writing domains, I worked as quality reviewer, subject matter expert, and mentor. As a senior medical writer, I have supervised narrative writing projects to timely completion with high quality deliverables. I have also led narrative writing projects and liaised with international teams.
