With an extensive career dedicated to strategic port development from concept to commissioning, optimized port layout / port planning my role as Ex Group sector head / Senior General Manager at Tata Consulting Engineers has been pivotal in making a new sector in TCE and sometime assisting other transport sectors, driving sustainable growth and large deal closures, business strategy and niche market intelligence. My expertise in master planning and public-private partnership projects has empowered our team to optimize resources effectively, ensuring robust business development and market intelligence with all national and international players. Earlier Administrative role in NMPA.helped to understand govt operations and port operations and it’s ecosystem and Project creation. At blue-chip PSU Mecon. i learnt port material handling and developed the Entrepreneurial skills to develop a new sector In ITD Cementation. I learned hands on marine construction ( jetties breakwater etc ) and it’s critical aspects and construction sequencing / optimization of resources The success I have achieved is rooted in a profound understanding of government procurement norms, combined with exceptional client relationship management and market intelligence / business development strategies. These competencies have not only fostered strong international networks but also positioned me as a respected port / transport Expert / keynote speaker at infrastructure conferences, championing green transition and sustainable development initiatives. Self was only one to be selected for port and coastal engineering course in NTNU, Norway ( 1994-95 ) and most recently for business development and marketing at Port of Antwerp, Belgium ( 2022 dec ) …which has enabled me to grasp A to Z of port and maritime sector and its entire ecosystem Self is also a visiting faculty to reputed university and associated with BOS and presentation more than 40 presentation in conferences and highlighted critical policy and cost optimization / contractual issues.
