The position is responsible for Operational Efficiency, Safety, Utilities and Engineering management. Ensuring the smooth and cost effective operations of the plant through proactive and effective maintenance leading to zero breakdowns. Also, ensure the execution of Engineering projects in a timely and cost effective manner and adherence to 100% legal and statutory compliance. Operation and Maintenance of Utility and Production M/Cs - Regularly monitoring key utilities (power, Steam, water) and identification of consumption patterns 2. Project Planning and Execution - Preparing the proposals and budgets for new projects including acquiring approvals from top management. Identifying vendors and contractors to carry out the work within the defined time frame and competitive cost 3. Cost Control - Optimizing utility consumption to ensure cost-effective running of the plant. Implementing traditional and innovative energy conservation activities and processes 4. Legal Compliance and Safety - Ensuring 100% compliance as per the legal statutes and regulations. Ensuring that the systems for safety and EHS are in place 5. People Processes - Build a talent pipeline with a long tern view to succession planning through grooming of subordinates to take on larger roles and responsibilities through planned interventions such as training programs and role enhancement
