About Devesh Bharra

Some time back, I took a leap of faith in shifting from Science to the field of Social work. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions of my life. But surely, it took a lot of stomach. Since then, work has not really felt like work, but bliss. In the course of these few years while working in some good civil society organizations, I have met many inspiring individuals whose work and dedication has motivated me to set my own values as a professional. Ethics has a significant role to play in it. I base my work in Integrity and my specialties include quickly learning new skills, adapting to situations, leading when required and working in sync with a team. I’m moldable, given the role and frequently try to look for solutions that are fresh and unconventional. The conditioning I received while studying Science has definitely given me the skill to plan and organize tasks effortlessly. It makes life a lot easier. When I’m not at work, you would mostly find me with my guitar, singing, with a sheet of chords laid in front. This is not a hobby but a second love. The love for music is so infectious that I can't help but radiate it with anyone I cross paths with. The most important lesson music has taught me is to delve deep to understand the rhythm and the feel. With that in place, every task i do has a meaning and I try my best to do justice to the work I take at hand.
