About Devin Brannon

I am a student at New College of Florida, working on expanding my work experience as I continue my education in Biology. As an aspiring entomologist, I find my passion lies in looking at the micro to understand the impacts they have in the macro. I hope that by using insects as an indicator of the health of the environment, that we can use findings to help make changes to how we go about sustaining a healthy environment from the bottom of the food chain up. Through several courses that align with the field of biology, I have gained a good understanding of how to collect information from various sources and present them in a digestible format to present. As well, I have recently undergone study endeavors that have acted to introduce me to methods used in field data collection and the flexibility it requires when designing an experiment. My hope is to further my field and presentation experience through internship and short-term education opportunities.
