Leading diverse teams has given me the opportunity to become an effective leader that acknowledges the needs of the business and the individual’s contributing their time to that business. The same direction can be given with different results depending on how the direction was given and who gave it. Learning how to deliver clear directions in the correct tone, time, and manner has given me great success in leading people. Through being an effective and dynamic leader, I have been able to be part of great teams that achieved amazing results for the business. My proudest careers moments have been developing teams with opportunities to be the best. Seeing an individual’s whole outlook on their career and themselves change from a pessimistic perspective to an individual that is proud of their work has been rewarding to me. To obtain these moments as a leader I had spent the time getting to know my workforce, acknowledged the person as a unique individual, and show trued compassion for their development. Individuals come from many unique backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Taking the time to invest and acknowledge in the many things that make an individual unique can give employers lower turnover, higher achievement within their workforce, and builds a bench of talent that wants to grow with the company. I want to take my knowledge and experiences and help develop and create great workforces and leadership within a business.
