Background

About Devin Gulati

Computer Science Major – Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence focus. Consistently focused on challenging and enhancing my coding skills inside and outside of the classroom. Throughout my tenure at school, I have sought out research positions, coding competitions, and leadership roles in organizations. My research internships continue to push the boundaries of my skills. My work has included designing and implementing deep learning algorithms using Deep Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, Long Short-Term Memory Networks, and more; leading collaborative coding teams for research and competitions; and finding creative applications of my skillset to novel and challenging problems. The beauty of Deep Learning is that once you understand the fundamentals they can be applied to any problem, regardless of your familiarity with it. Through my role at Rutgers I am able to further my own understanding and those of the club members as I teach the fundamentals of Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and various architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, etc. I am constantly seeking new ways to apply my skills and collaborate with others in the Machine Learning field.
