About Devin Ibanez

I’m Devin Ibañez, a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Advisor, public speaker, and proud advocate for accessibility, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. I combine lived experience with ADHD and my background as the first openly gay Major League Rugby player to drive cultural change across sport, higher education, and global organisations. I hold a BSc in Sport Management and Education and have spent my career designing and delivering inclusion strategies that empower communities and remove barriers to participation. At myGwork, a global DE & I job board and consultancy, I partner with universities, multinational companies, and public bodies to embed inclusive policy, accessible recruitment, and belonging-focused training into everyday practice. Beyond my corporate work, I have led community engagement campaigns, founded global DEI webinar series reaching employees, and delivered keynote talks at major conferences including the Out Leadership European Summit. As a coach, ambassador, and athlete, I’ve worked hands-on with grassroots and elite sports programmes, ensuring inclusion is not just a buzzword but an integrated value that shapes culture and practice. My mission is simple: to create environments - whether in the classroom, the boardroom, or on the pitch - where everyone can belong, excel, and lead.
