About Devin Majors

I am an Associate in Thompson Burton's Commercial Litigation, Restructuring, and Insolvency practice groups. My practice focuses on representing clients in complex civil litigation, including commercial disputes, construction, real estate, adminstrative, and employment law, across both state and federal jurisdictions. Before my legal career, I developed strong leadership and service skills through various roles. At the University of Tennessee at Martin, I served as Student Body President for two terms and was honored with the Paul and Martha Meek Leadership Award, the highest student honor awarded at graduation. These experiences honed my ability to collaborate and advocate, which I now apply directly to my legal practice. I earned my law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where I was inducted into the National Order of Barristers. During my time there, I captained the BLSA National Trial Team for two years and gained practical experience as a Student Attorney in both the Business and Expungement Clinics, representing clients and handling various transactional and criminal record matters. My dedication to service was also recognized with the 'Devin A. Majors Award' by the SGA.
