About Devin Pickering
I just really believe in the power of stories." Pickering is a storyteller working across multiple disciplines. His filmmaking career began as an editor, working in television for networks including ESPN, PBS, ABC, FOX, and CNN before moving into directing in 2012. Since then, he has created award-winning films in both the narrative and the documentary space, in addition to providing content for brands such as Patagonia, Converse, Vox, Open Space Institute, and Vice. Most recently, he has co-directed, filmed, edited, and scored the ten-part documentary series ‘Lost Arts’, an immersive meditation on our food system. Based in New York’s Hudson Valley - Devin is available for international productions and works with various camera systems including: blackmagic, arri, sony, canon, panasonic and dji.
