About Devin Sclater

I’ve loved cars since I was a kid. I would keep my dad company while he worked on them, steal his copies of Car and Driver, and proudly wear one of my grandfather’s Airflow shirts - that I still have to this day - to school. As luck would have it, I now get to talk about electric vehicles every day…and get paid for it! I have an extensive background in working with various types of fleets in the gas and diesel industry. I am able to apply what I learned from purchasing and trading bulk fuel, managing dispatch, and handling emergency after hours issues to thoroughly understand what fleets of all types and sizes need to electrify. Furthermore, I spent some time on the utility side of the aisle working with utility programs, EV education, and electrifying a fleet of light to heavy duty vehicles. My experiences merge perfectly for my position at ABB as the fleet business development manager. I am able to talk to customers about their fleet electrification projects from start to finish, pulling in the correct experts to ensure success along the way.
