As a forward-thinking Epidemiology MSc candidate poised for graduation in June, I am deeply immersed in the cutting-edge of statistical analysis, healthcare research, and the application of robust causal inference methodologies across a broad spectrum of topics. My academic journey at UC Davis was marked by pioneering research in personality and developmental psychology, culminating in a thesis that leveraged latent growth curves and structural equation modeling to unravel the complexities of cognitive ability and personality evolution. My passion for applying empirical insights to real-world challenges led me to investigate the health impacts of air pollution emanating from LAX on vulnerable populations, specifically focusing on Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy for my MSc thesis. This work not only highlights my dedication to addressing critical public health issues but also showcases my proficiency in handling complex datasets and deploying advanced analytical tools. During my tenure at UCLA, I have significantly expanded my expertise through a rigorous curriculum encompassing causal inference, qualitative research methodologies, biostatistics, and advanced coding in R and SAS.
