About Devlin Brush

I've spent almost my whole life using computers to create things, so it only makes sense that I ended up in the software industry. As a kid, I sat at the computer creating games, art, music, and videos as much as I possibly could. Now, I bring that creativity and energy to my work to deliver high-quality applications to millions of users. My primary development language is Javascript, which I've used at Jellyvision to help develop the ALEX benefits decision support platform. I'm proficient in working with ES6, Node, PostgreSQL, Gitlab, React, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and JS testing suites, and I have experience working with Python, Terraform, TypeScript, Gherkin, DynamoDB, Koa, Ruby on Rails, Express, and Flask. In my career so far I've quickly gained a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver a product that satisfies the needs of many different customers. I'm invested not just in creating efficient and logical systems, but in working as a team to build out software and websites that are informative, well-crafted and make people excited about using them. I love to learn new things and get my hands dirty to create and maintain code that will last.
