About Devon Baird

I'm the CEO of Vernon's Speakeasy, where I combine my passion for hospitality with my business acumen and creative spirit to create a world-class luxury service & product business. My vision is to build Vernon's into a national luxury brand, renowned for its exceptional experiences, commitment to excellence, and investment in customer connections—whether that's with an intimate partner, family, or friends. Soccer has been a major part of my life since I was 5 years old. I played competitively through my college years at Fort Lewis College and now enjoy coaching two U14 boys' teams. While earning my degree in Business with a focus in marketing, I also built a successful career as a professional photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. This diverse background has given me a unique perspective and a well-rounded skillset that I bring to my leadership role at Vernon's Speakeasy. I'm driven by building a team of empowered and highly-skilled individuals at Vernon's. This means investing in our employees through education, professional development & training, ownership opportunities, and competitive pay. Beyond my work at Vernon's, I'm deeply invested in creating more opportunities and access for young soccer players. I plan to dedicate significant time and resources to addressing this issue throughout my life. I'm always eager to connect with others who share my passion for entrepreneurship, the hospitality industry, youth sports development, and creative pursuits.
