About Devon Christensen

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in the spring of 2020 where I was an English Literature major and a German Studies minor. I am currently working for Computershare Corporate Trust, previously Wells Fargo Corporate Trust, as an Account Associate. In this position I communicate with clients and internal teams via email to send documents to be reviewed, have packages processed, answer questions, submit loan files to be reviewed, and run reports. Ultimately I would like to work in the book publishing industry to edit and publish books, and I am seeking a position that will help me reach this career path. In the summer of 2019, I was an editorial intern at Calumet Editions in Edina, MN. I completed tasks that varied day-to-day, but included reading submissions and manuscripts, providing feedback to authors, helping authors utilize Goodreads, and conducting research on various advertising opportunities. I also worked at Fleet Farm from May 2014 to June 2020 as a front end operations specialist. In this position I assisted customers at the front end, supervised cashiers, monitored money, and prepared bank deposits, all to keep the front end running smoothly and to provide a positive customer experience.
