About Devon Cozens

My clinical work is focused on supporting teens, couples, and families to rekindle a felt sense of connection. The attachment lens- paired with systems-driven, emotionally focused, experiential, and humanistic interventions- allows me to help people get unstuck in the places that mean the most; their relationships to self, other, and the world. Similarly, my primary task in the classroom is to cultivate a culture of empathy and connection. I believe in creating and maintaining a student-centered, inclusive, and brave space where students can show up as they are and grow alongside one another. This dynamic approach to adult learning and growth lends itself to my role as Clinical Field Faculty where I support students in developing a professional identity rooted in social work values and ethics. Above all, I believe in the transformative power of belonging! I trust in it wholeheartedly as an anchor for my teaching and clinical work alike.
