About Devon George

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in both Political Science and International Affairs at Florida State University, focusing on the Pre-Law track. I will be graduating early in 2025, continuing on the Applied American Politics and Policy Masters Program (MAAPP) before applying to law school. I am specializing in Spanish, intending on serving the community as a civil rights attorney. During my time so far at FSU, I have been most actively been involved in Women in Pre-Law Society (WIPS) and Undergraduate Research (UROP). Additionally, I participate in various organizations such as the Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law Fraternity), Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, FSU Study Abroad (Czech Republic), and will be graduating early through the More in Four Program. I was a past participant in the Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program (SUG '24). In addition to my academic and extracurricular commitments, I continue to lifeguard over the summers at an all-girls camp in Brevard, NC, and regularly volunteer with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Lite the Nite). I have called the Clearwater area home for 20 years, having made the trek across the bay to Tampa Preparatory School where I graduated as an AP Scholar with Distinction with a concentration in Global Studies.
