Through my academic journey and volunteer work, I’ve gained hands-on experience addressing real-world environmental challenges. I recently completed an in-depth data analysis project examining mercury levels in fish species, leveraging tools like Excel, R, and QGIS to uncover trends and their potential links to industrial activities. Additionally, as a volunteer with the London Environmental Network, I’ve contributed to impactful initiatives like tree planting projects and Thames Valley River clean-ups! Currently pursuing my Master of Environment and Sustainability, I’ve deepened my expertise in sustainable business practices, data manipulation, and ecosystem health. The program has allowed me to develop practical skills in GHG accounting, environmental assessments, and frameworks like SWOT and PESTLE analysis, equipping me to create actionable strategies for environmental challenges. My work spans hands-on experiences, from conducting field research in the Adirondack State Park to contributing to biodiversity inventories and large-scale tree planting initiatives.
