With over 20 years of experience in biotechnology and academics, I am a seasoned leader and innovator in the field of cell and gene therapy. As the former Chief Scientific Officer of Cell Therapy at Poseida Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, I oversaw the discovery, innovation, and development of cell-based therapies for the treatment of cancer, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. My core competencies include immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, and flow cytometry, as well as strategic thinking, foresight, and business development. I have contributed to numerous patents, publications, and certifications in the field cell and gene therapy, and I have successfully led and supported the advancement of multiple product candidates from concept to clinic. My mission is to leverage our proprietary genetic engineering platform technologies to create next-generation cell and gene therapeutics with the capacity to cure.
