I’m a Software Engineering student with a previous background in health-tech research who enjoys the creative development and developer-user sides of software engineering, including DevOps, Front-End, Back-End, Mobile, Web, Networking, and Game Design. ‍ I’m a student studying Software Engineering at the University of Ottawa. 🧬 I previously studied Medical Science, Genetics, Cancer, Pathogens & Immunology at Western University. I’m a Advisor at uOttaHack, Ottawa’s longest-running and largest hackathon est. 2018 I’m an awarded public speaker and prolific student leader representing Software Engineering students I’m a published researcher in the field of genomics and children’s leukemia. I’ve interned at Ciena for the past (2 terms) 8 months—both as a Software Developer—where I’ve explored areas of DevOps, CI/CD, Database Design, Automated Testing, and Software Engineering. I am an incoming DevOps Engineer Intern at the Royal Bank of Canada for the coming Winter term. These experiences help me attain skills that further advance my career in tech and put a major focus on building client-centred and developer-friendly products with a focus on the end user and design.
