About Devon Mazur

Devon is a partner with Myers LLP practicing mainly in the areas of Aboriginal law, employment law, administrative law, and civil litigation. As legal counsel to First Nations, Devon has represented First Nations in a diverse range of areas including consultation, governance, complex litigation, privacy, and Treaty issues. In the area of employment law, Devon provides counsel to First Nations, Tribal Councils, Child Protection Agencies, and other entities, in a wide range of areas including policy development, workplace health and safety, workplace investigations and investigation support, disciplinary matters and offers strategic and customized training sessions for her clients’ employees and supervisors to support workplace policies and initiatives. In the areas of civil litigation and administrative law, Devon represents First Nations, unions, corporations, and individuals in motions for injunctions, actions and applications in the Court of King’s Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and before arbitrators and adjudicators. Her experience includes representing her clients in proceedings before the Federal Court, the Court of King’s Bench, the Court of Appeal, the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, The Employment Standards Branch, the Manitoba Labour Board, Canada Labour Program, Canada Labour Code Adjudicators, and the Provincial Court of Manitoba for inquests pursuant to The Fatality Inquiries Act. Devon joined Myers LLP in 2013 when she articled with the Firm. Devon was called to the Bar in June 2014.
