As a passionate Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Isothermal Community College (ICC), I am dedicated to elevating the institution's brand presence across various channels, blending new media technologies with traditional marketing techniques. I successfully foster awareness of ICC's mission and values by leveraging my expertise in digital, online, and social media, as well as direct mail, radio, and print campaigns. My role at ICC presents countless opportunities to connect with the community through engaging campus events, meaningful social media interactions, and exceptional student services. By creating dynamic content and forging authentic connections, I actively contribute to strengthening the bond between the college and its stakeholders. In addition to my work at ICC, I am actively involved in various committees and volunteer efforts. Over the past four years, I've proudly contributed to the success of the annual on-campus Science Expo. I was also a part of the 2022 Emerging Issues Forum community cohort on educational attainment in NC. Most recently, I am a graduate of the Leadership Rutherford Class of 2023. Leadership Rutherford is a program that seeks to train and empower residents to address the community's challenges for the benefit of all. I eagerly explored critical issues like healthcare and diversity, gained the knowledge needed for effective leadership, and followed in the footsteps of past graduates who had made a positive impact. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I have honed a passion for communications, social media, and digital marketing. My arsenal of skills includes exceptional oral, written, and verbal communication abilities and adeptness in public speaking, academic writing, editing, and design. Equipped with proficiency in various tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Cloud Suite, WordPress, and social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, I effectively drive impactful online experiences.
