I am a strategic and visionary academic leader with more than two decades of experience across the creative arts, post-secondary education, and cultural sectors. Currently serving as Associate Dean in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Associate Professor of Art History/Museum Studies at the University of Lethbridge, I bring a record of achievement in academic planning, program renewal, faculty governance, and student-focused leadership. My portfolio spans graduate and undergraduate curriculum, student affairs, faculty facilities, and operational staff management. I lead with transparency, collegiality, and care—guided by a commitment to inclusive excellence and a deep understanding of the unique needs of arts education. I have spearheaded cross-faculty initiatives in work-integrated learning, strategic enrollment, and marketing strategies; led major capital planning for Fine Arts facility upgrades and championed pedagogical innovation across programs. I actively support a vibrant research and creative culture through national grant-funded projects, community partnerships, and institution-building activities that align academic priorities with long-term strategic goals.
