About Devon Tucker

An only child born in White Plains, NY, DeVon is a first generation American born and raised by his mother of Guyanese descent. With the foundational principles of hard work, charity, and determination, he would go on to attend one of the most prestigious private liberal arts colleges in the nation, becoming the first male member of his family to graduate from college. DeVon earned his bachelor’s degree in Law & Society with a minor in Business Administration. He was always viewed as a leader on every level of his scholastic journey. In addition to being a student athlete while in college, DeVon was able to use his influence to start a non-profit organization that helped set up volunteering & mentoring programs in the local Boys & Girls clubs, & over 20 Elementary/Junior High/High schools. He has single-handedly spearheaded several charitable events including book drives, coat drives, and bathing suit drives for the underprivileged youths. During this same tenure he was rewarded the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Award and honored at a prestigious ceremony for his achievements. After graduating college, he opted to start his own financial practice, choosing Northwestern Mutual out of several offers from top Firms. In under 5 years, he has served hundreds of clients and was also honored with the Core Coalition Award, recognizing him for excellence in providing strategic comprehensive planning for clients. His work ethic and unwillingness to accept failure have only set the foundation. He is a Leader, indeed.
