About Devra Sadler

I have been with the Hillel at Miami University team as the Assistant Director for two years, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for Jewish students on campus is something I am truly passionate about. Previously, I served as the Manager of Youth, Family, & Jewish Life at the Mayerson JCC, where I oversaw and supported a wide range of youth, family, and Jewish Life programs. Earlier in my career, I worked as the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Savannah Jewish Federation, where my work with youth and teen programming, as well as Hillel, laid a strong foundation for my role today. My passion for working in the Jewish community has been clear since my early days. Growing up as a dedicated JCC kid, I participated in BBYO, Maccabi, day camp, and more. These experiences inspired my decision to become a Jewish communal professional, giving me the opportunity to support others on their Jewish journeys as so many people did for me. I am a proud alum of the University of Cincinnati and the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Additionally, I completed the JCC Association’s Merrin Teen Professional Fellowship in 2018. In my free time, I love to relax, shop, bake desserts, watch Netflix, and spend time with my husband, son, and our dog, Zev!
