About Devyani Makan

An ambitious, driven, and curious woman with 3+ years of professional experience currently working at Coupa as a Marketing Intern handling customers across EMEA and gained experience by supporting continuous improvement projects with the Solution Consulting team, account managers, and account executives to understand the customers’ requirements. Prior to this, I was working in Honeywell as a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist in direct and indirect procurement with experience in commodities like Electronics, Sheet Metal, machining, and casting/forging in the Aerospace department at Honeywell supporting NPI and recompete projects. Recognized for effective relationship management and fulfilling all of the given stakeholder requirements. Resourceful and organized with excellent leadership and multiple project management abilities. Successfully negotiated with multiple Honeywell clients leading to maximum savings on huge spend projects. I completed MSc in Marketing from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland's leading College. Throughout the years, I gained valuable experience of working in client-facing roles and became passionate about business, technology, and Startups while making a social impact. My diverse past experiences have given me a holistic eye and critical thinking. Few highlights of my career: • Past records of leading a project with a $10.5 million spend which incurred cost savings of $2.25 using the best e-Sourcing strategy in terms of pre-auction and post-auction activities. • Successfully moved 50+ suppliers to better payment terms with a Working Capital impact of 700K via Negotiation and Supply Chain Financing. • Part of the UAT Team to deploy a new ERP system in Honeywell by making it personalised software making it easier for employees and customers. • Won "Best Marketing Consultant" award among 30+ consultants. • Won "Best Advertiser" award among 50+ students for Toyota Ireland.
