About Devyn Groth

Recent graduate from Mount St. Mary’s University having obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, with a minor in criminal justice and an ending GPA of 3.98, Summa Cum Laude in December of 2022. I have experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), children that have suffered from physical or sexual abuse, along with working with adults that were victims of domestic violence, those diagnosed with depression and individuals in substance use recovery. Within these roles, I have learned about trauma-informed care, person-oriented approaches, along with proper documentation. Furthermore, I have a large range of people skills, as I have served tables at The Greene Turtle, Texas Roadhouse, and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Hanover, PA. I am currently a student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work to obtain my Masters in Social Work (MSW) to become a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, with a graduate of May 2025. I am working with the Substance Use Disorder Interventions Fellowship (SUDIF) in order to further my knowledge and experience with substance use in individuals. I intend to work with those of substance use and in recovery from previous addiction. I currently hold a position as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) worker with Aspire Wellness Center, where I am expanding my skills in documentation and working with individuals that have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
