About Devyn Rorem Colquhoun

I am a graduate student in School and Clinical Child Psychology with a clinical and research interest in leveraging strengths to support healthy outcomes for children and youth. As a clinician, I have experience conducting psychoeducational and clinical assessments as well as individual and group interventions in community, school, and private practice settings. My SSHRC-funded doctoral research explores how tabletop role-playing games can promote psychosocial development in structurally marginalized youth. I also contribute to a variety of research projects that seek ways to support structurally marginalized children and youth and understand factors that impact emerging mental health. Following the completion of my PhD and pre-doctoral residency, I plan to register as a psychologist in Alberta.
