Responsibility “U” is a rooming house/Group home that focuses on moving people from a state of homelessness to becoming owners of their on property. This company core value is to treat everyone with respect and to assist people to move forward toward their dream(s).Ownerships Background:Darriel Hagans, is the son of a preacher man (Winfred Darriel), whom had Muscular dystrophy and a older brother of a Sister (Mary Nichole)who had Lupus. I watched my Mother (Mary) play the angel of mercy, always making their lives as peaceful and restful as possible. I have a younger (Cornelius)brother, who owns Unks Place in Dayton Ohio, who serves the Foster kids population. I noticed that I had a similar gift. I realized later on in life, that I to wanted help people move from where they are to a bright and lucrative “now place”.Darriel was in the Navy for 7 years. After 15 years working in Security, Darriel, had an opportunity to work with the Homeless population. Darriel, noticed that he loved touching people lives. Darriel worked for “The Other Place”, currently called Homefull, in Dayton Ohio. Currently, Darriel works with Mental Health Resource Center-LINK program here in Jacksonville, Fl. Darriel has been working for MHRC for 9 years. Darriel is the Senior Pastor of Community Life Ministry. Darriel is married to his best friend, Alice Hagans of Hazard, KY for now 30 years. The Hagans have 2 grown children and 2 grandboys.
