Head of the Private label subservicing team comprised of Asset Managers and Analyst. • Manage multiple private label borrowers with a portfolio of FHA multifamily, healthcare, construction and senior housing loans. • Provide timely and accurate customer support to internal and external stakeholders. • Pool and deliver Ginnie Mae mortgage-backed securities in a timely and accurate manner. • Monitor asset management reports to ensure portfolio is in compliance with agency requirements. • Review construction forms and backup submitted with each loan advance, change order, permission to occupy, and escrow advance request to ensure they are in compliance with HUD rules and regulations. • Prepare and coordinate construction draw funding by warehouse lender. • Review monthly mortgage statements to ensure the constructions advances, principal payments, and escrow balances are reflected correctly, and distribute them to Borrowers in a timely fashion. • Facilitate interest rate reductions (IRR) and loan payoffs, obtain HUD approval, document releases and terminations, per established procedures. • Assist with processing assumptions, loan modifications, and other borrower requests. • Review and/or approve disbursements from replacement reserves, non-critical repairs, and other collateral escrows in accordance with HUD and established departmental guidelines. • Contact borrowers when payments are not received within specified timeframes; follow up to ensure payment receipt, and report status per HUD guidelines. Coordinate sending late payment letters and collection of late charges. • Assess and manage portfolio risk through annual financial spreads, REAC inspections and monthly collections. • Implement and monitor HUD and company mandated compliance/procedural requirements. • Exercise the usual managerial authority with respect to staffing, hiring, termination, training, salary recommendations and performance management.
