About Deyan Bratic
Deyan Bratic is a guitarist and teacher from St. Louis, Missouri who has also enjoyed success as a prolific author and music transcriber. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Webster University, where he studied classical guitar performance with John McClellan. His published titles include Chet Atkins in Three Dimensions: Fifty Years of Legendary Guitar, Volumes 1 and 2 (Mel Bay Publications, 2003, 2004), which are among Mel Bay's most successful book releases to date, critically acclaimed for their rich tribute to one of the greatest musicians of the twentieth century. The Magnificent Guitar of Jorge Morel: A Life of Music (Mel Bay Publications, 2007) is the reference for the music and story of the Argentine guitar legend. Deyan was also a top transcriber for Fingerstyle Guitar magazine from 2002 until 2007, having transcribed countless recordings of some of the world's top guitarists.
