I am part of Deloitte's Corporate Finance Advisory (Private Equity Origination) team. In this role, I support Deloitte UK teams in identifying investment opportunities for large-cap and mid-cap PE funds, with a focus on Europe, primarily the UK. My work involves analysing companies coming to market, evaluating business models, financial performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes. I prepare detailed investment theses to highlight value creation opportunities for investors. Previously, I worked with EY in their M&A Tax team, where I advised private equity clients on tax due diligence, structuring solutions, and corporate tax matters. I also reviewed Share Purchase Agreements and assisted in executing mergers and demergers under the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). As part of my Chartered Accountancy qualification, I completed a three-year articleship with Grant Thornton in their M&A Tax team, where I conducted tax due diligence, provided structuring advice, and worked on general direct tax advisory for transactions. I am deeply interested in the intersection of finance and technology, particularly in stock markets, artificial intelligence, and their evolving impact on business strategy and decision-making.
