About DHARATI Ramekar

I am a Creative Development and production executive with 15+ years' industry experience. Having started my career at Dream-works I have worked as a part of the Surfacing team on the assets of Movies like "How to Train Your Dragon" Madagascar 3 Rise of Guardian etc. From 2015 I am handling my own studio of around 100 seats as a Studio head/ Creative director Producing and delivering 3D animation for Domestic and International projects. As Head of Development at BRIO-STUDIO Animation I was responsible for designing and implementing a new development strategy; managing the development team and building both the creative team and a new slate of projects. I was the creative driver for all of the original concepts (including the 52 x 11 minute Tibu & Friends original series); for heading up the script department and creating pitch treatments and bibles for pitching to international broadcast networks and investors. In this light I built up good relationships with networks by attending television markets such as MIPCOM Mip Junior ATF etc Therefore I’m uniquely experienced on both the creative and business side of producing IP for kids and family audiences.
