As Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud & Data Engineering, I bring over 14.5 years of diverse experience in database engineering, with a specialized focus on cloud-native databases and large-scale distributed systems. My career spans 7 years as an Oracle DBA, 2 years as a Cassandra DBA, and 4 years as a Technical Lead for Azure Cosmos DB, with in-depth involvement across development, test, and production environments. For the past 2 years, I’ve been leading strategic initiatives as a Senior Engineering Manager focused on cloud database platforms in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). At Walmart, I manage a Cosmos DB/DevOps team of 4 engineers, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting business-critical workloads hosted in Azure Cosmos DB. These workloads support Walmart’s core e-commerce functions—from user authentication to final order checkout—at a massive scale.
