as a Facilities and Maintenance Manager at Tech Data Canada Corporation lead the Facilities Management team of over 25 individuals to drive exceptional and continuous results. I also directly manage the sourcing and procurement process which entails management of maintenance, repairs and operational spend categories inclusive of janitorial services, pest control, fire sprinkler systems, HVAC, construction related services and building renovations to name a few. Key achievements include: • Developed new e-Maintenance system for the Facility and offices • Restructured and integrated the vendor management program through negotiations and leverage of high-volume contracts to achieve 5% reduction in building purchasing and expenses, totalling annual savings of for Tech Data. • Reduced operational cost by 9% through task reconfiguration, process mapping and reducing labour expense for the MHE charging stations, totalling average cost savings of per station. • Winner of the Best Manager and Best Employee of the year award for 2019 and 2020. During my time with Tech Data, I have also launched a rigorous documentation framework for facilities operations to ensure increased building and vendor compliance and employee safety. This framework has been successfully integrated as the compliance taxonomy for Tech Data. Successful handling of my duties required outstanding attention to detail, ongoing proactiveness and constant flexibility. As the leader of a 25- person team, I created and directed daily agendas and weekly schedules that kept our equipment and facility maintenance on track. Doing so facilitated a 11% improvement in our efficiency and cut weekly downtime by zero minutes.
