Manager Accounts Receivable/Collections with 14+ years of overall experience. I am responsible for participating and driving a team of professionals to execute all aspects of the collections process for delinquent customers, including: contacting customers for payments, via emails and phone calls, following-up, resolving payment issues, liaising with outside collection agencies and facilitating the write-off process. I develop and motivate team members, develops and implements process improvements, and regularly participates in special project to achieve company objectives. Activities include: developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the department, company and industry; managing all aspects of the day-to-day collection process; initiating contact with high profile delinquent customers to obtain payment; managing high profile customer relationships; coordinating the proper course of action for delinquent customers; leading the identification, development and implementation of process improvements; managing a team of direct reports; participating in organizational activities; and representing my company within the industry.
