About Dhenu Wiarsandi

More than 15 years in the digital payments and fintech world, a journey that’s taken me from the early days of electronic money in Indonesia to leading large-scale payment innovations today. My career has been shaped by a deep curiosity for how technology can simplify financial services, making them accessible and reliable for everyone. It started in 2015 when I joined Telkomsel, just as the concept of telco-based e-money was taking off in Indonesia. Being part of the team behind TCASH, one of the country’s first electronic money solutions, was an inspiring experience—seeing firsthand how tech could change the way people manage and use money in their daily lives. That foundation in early fintech shaped my approach: make it practical, make it impactful, and above all, make it user-friendly. In 2019, I took on a new challenge at LinkAja. I was asked to lead a Strategic Product Task Force to merge e-money products from three major banks and a telecom provider into a single platform. The timeline was tight, and the stakes were high, but that’s what made it so exciting. With a team of 40+ across product design and management, we built one of Indonesia’s promising e-money solutions at that time. It was a learning curve in collaboration, integration, and building something from the ground up that could stand the test of time. Most recently, I led the online payment gateway business at Midtrans under GoTo Financial, steering the team through a tough tech winter. Within a year, we turned challenges into resilience, adapting quickly to regain momentum and continue supporting our clients and customers effectively. Throughout my journey, I’ve worked across payment gateways, bank partnerships, and strategic product development. What drives me is the challenge of making the complex feel simple, creating products that aren’t just functional but truly valuable to users. I’m passionate about this space, and each step has been a building block toward that goal of making financial technology more accessible, intuitive, and impactful for everyone.
