25 years of progressive experience; initially serving onboard oil tankers for 7 years, followed by the last 18 years with Wartsila, moving through the ranks from a laborer to Maintenance Supervisor and Workshop Supervisor, followed by Lead Hand and eventually Technical Manager and Workshop Service Team Leader of the Services/Workshop facility in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Between 2013 and 2015 I successfully managed and optimized the Operational division of the company as Operations Manager Canada. My move into the Sales Manager role, followed my stint as Operation Manager and this move allowed me to use my extensive technical experience and know-how to improve on Offerings Development and gear it towards improving revenue growth in existing and new business opportunities. My highly developed leadership skills coupled with a strong ability of driving performance is key to consistently delivering profitable solutions and provide sales operational leadership. My most recent career move has me responsible for Marine Business Development in the US and Canada area. This move allows me the ability to operate and act strategically with the big picture in mind whilst focusing on the customer, understanding customers’ business drivers and managing customer relations.
