About Dhiren Bhatia

I believe that technology should be a key enabler within businesses and not a cost centre. I learnt this first hand with 15 years of experience, supporting two of the largest financial institutions to help them manage key IT infrastructure required for continued operations and revenue generation by the capital markets business. Hailing from a family of retail business owners, I wanted to eventually go into the retail business and in 2010, I founded and launched the first South Asian fashion brand within a major mall in Toronto, Canada. Fast forward to 2016, I moved to Dubai and founded Cloudscape Technologies. A team that is focused on enabling retail and e-commerce brands to scale operations with modern technology & ultimately, increase business revenue. The dynamic technology experience along with the combination of retail family background has contributed in shaping what we offer at Cloudscape Technologies and over the period of time, become trusted advisors to hundred of retail and e-commerce brands across the UAE, GCC and the wider global community. As a CEO coach and the host of the Elevated Entrepreneur Podcast show, I share content that enables founders to become CEO's of their business. My mission is to help founders understand entrepreneurship is not about having a second job; rather it's doing things that fulfil our purpose and bring joy to us and our communities. I am a constant learner and a very curious one at that! I have completed certifications on several business and technology topics that allow me to think holistically. One of the areas of learning that has been my favourite is productivity. I am always looking at different ways to make my day even more productive - I even put together a podcast episode on it! I am equally curious about life experiences and have participated in various marathons, motorcycled across multiple countries and have dived in deep seas. I have had the opportunity to speak at several industry forums in Dubai such as Zomato, HR Tech, Shopify, Virtuzone events.
