About Dhritishree D.

I am a committed development sector professional with over 8 years of diverse experience across grassroots education, mental healthcare, and livelihood enhancement. My work spans child development, family strengthening, and community mental health, with a strong focus on marginalized populations- including women, children, the elderly, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those affected by poverty and trauma. Currently, I am focusing on building low-income families’ financial resilience through skill-building and knowledge-sharing initiatives. With formal training in clinical social work from ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, I bring hands-on experience in delivering mental health services across age groups including clients diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and survivors of violence. I’ve contributed to clinical research- including an ICMR-funded project on Autism screening in India- and have published in reputed journals. My work is grounded in a firm belief that sustainable development must integrate emotional well-being, mental health, and community empowerment.
