About Dhruv Sachdev

Growing up across 9 cities, winning multiple sports tournaments, playing Tennis at the state level (one level below National), and leading a team of 15 to create programs that supported HIV-infected children, my personal experiences over the last decade have truly helped me grow tremendously as a person. As a professional, I have gained almost 7 years of experience in Asset Management at Macquarie Group Limited. Working across 3 Business Divisions (Real Assets & Infrastructure, Investment Management, and Investment Solutions), I have worked on Financial Accounting related profiles such as Month End Accounting, Reconciliations, Stakeholder Reporting, Regulatory Reporting for over 150 global funds. I have also enhanced my understanding of risk management, and international business. I was also a part of the Project Management team that established Macquarie's first Knowledge Management function across over 30 global offices. In my last role, I was a SME representing Macquarie Asset Management Finance vertical in General Ledger(GL) Transformation Project. Currently Pursuing my Masters in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University. I have been fortunate enough to be awarded with Leadership Scholarship at the school. When I’m not sitting at my desk, I enjoy playing Golf and Tennis. I am also a Practioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Krav Maga(Military Self Defense). Passionate about Community service.
